From July 19 to 26, a youth delegation of Turkmenistan visited the People's Republic of China at the invitation of the Soong Ching Ling Foundation, addressed to the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow Charitable Foundation for Assisting Children in Need of Care.

The visit was carried out within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow Charitable Foundation for Assisting Children in Need of Care and the Soong Ching Ling Foundation. Humanitarian cooperation serves as the foundational pillar of this document.

The summer cultural and familiarization visit titled "Youth Development for a Shared Future" took place in the city of Beijing and Fujian Province.

On the first day of the visit, the Turkmen delegation attended the opening ceremony of the event at the Beijing headquarters of the Soong Ching Ling Foundation.

In addition, the delegation of Turkmenistan was received by Zhang Xinlin, Vice Chairman of the Soong Ching Ling Foundation of the People's Republic of China. Zhang Xinlin conveyed warm greetings from the head of the foundation, Ms. Li Bin, to Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice President for Medical Affairs of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow Charitable Foundation for Assisting Children in Need of Care.

It was emphasized that both countries pay great attention to ensuring the comprehensive interests of children and developing cooperation in the medical field. In this regard, China's readiness to organize a visit of Chinese doctors to Turkmenistan was announced.

At the end of the meeting, Zhang Xinlin presented the Turkmen delegation with books containing information about the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation.

As part of the summer cultural and familiarization program, members of the Turkmen delegation visited the Soong Ching Ling Foundation, the Palace Museum (Forbidden City), the Great Wall of China, the iFlytech company, and the ports of Xiamen and Gulangyu.

A total of 84 representatives from 16 countries participated in the summer cultural and familiarization visit titled "Youth Development for a Shared Future."
