
On March 30, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Nokerguly Atagulyyev, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, according to the 1tv.ge website.
The parties discussed the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation. According to the Georgian government, it was noted during the meeting that Georgian-Turkmen relations have reached a qualitatively new level. The role of high-level visits in further strengthening interstate ties was also emphasized.
Special attention was paid to trade and economic cooperation, as well as opportunities for partnership in the fields of agriculture and tourism.
Regional agenda items were also touched upon during the talks. The parties highly praised Turkmenistan's efforts to strengthen peace and stability in Central Asia and noted the importance of such a course for the sustainable development of the region.
