Ports of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan Plan to Develop Transport and Logistics Routes in the Caspian Region

Leaders of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport, as part of a working visit to Kazakhstan, held a meeting with the heads of the country's Aktau and Kuryk ports. During the meeting, the parties paid special attention to the issues of developing transport and logistics routes. The official press service of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport reported this on Monday.

The parties also discussed the possibilities of future cooperation and issues regarding the further strengthening of partnership relations in the Caspian region.

As part of the working visit, the Turkmen delegation visited the Aktau port and familiarized themselves with its infrastructure, production capacities, and current operations.

The representatives of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport were shown the main terminals, existing logistics solutions, and plans for the development of port infrastructure.

As noted in the report, such meetings facilitate the exchange of experience, increase the efficiency of cooperation, and contribute to the development of international transport corridors.
