76 Residential Buildings and 127 Cottages to be Commissioned in Ashgabat

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, during the expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on Friday, stated that in 2026, 30 residential buildings and numerous shopping and service centers in the "Parahat — 7" residential complex of Ashgabat, 46 modern residential buildings in the residential complex of Buzmeyin district, and 127 two-story cottage-type residential buildings in the capital will be commissioned.

According to reports from the official media of Turkmenistan, a multipurpose cultural center with a capacity of 4,000 seats will be built and put into operation in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.

"Furthermore, in Ashgabat, we will commission the International Pediatric Center, the International Scientific and Clinical Oncology Center, and the Dental Center. In the 'Archman' sanatorium, a new complex of buildings for 400 people will begin serving citizens," the Head of State noted.

As noted in the report, according to the "Program of Socio-Economic Development and Investments of Turkmenistan for 2026," it is planned to build and commission residential buildings with a total area of more than 900 thousand square meters, general education institutions for 3,380 pupils, and preschool institutions for 1,080 children this year. Within the framework of implementing this Program to improve the living conditions of the people, the construction of numerous facilities and buildings will start in the regions and the capital.

At the expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the results of the work carried out in the country in 2025 were summarized, and reports from the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of some ministries, and regional governors (hyakims) were heard. The meeting also discussed the tasks ahead for the socio-economic development of the country in 2026, as well as matters regarding the appointment and dismissal of officials.
