A new and modern town to be established in Mary region
In accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, a new, modern town is being built within the territory of the Imambaba gengeshlik of the Yoloten district in Mary region. As reported by the "Watan" news program, this significant project is being implemented within the framework of the National Program for the development of the country until 2052, aimed at improving the socio-economic conditions of the regions.
The construction of the new town will be carried out in stages between 2026 and 2030. The main goal of the project is to further enhance the living conditions of the population and create a modern infrastructure.
Project implementation stages:
- Master Plan: The Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan will prepare the design and master plan of the town within the next three months.
- Supervision: A special directorate will be established under the Ministry to manage the quality and progress of the construction work.
- Deadline: The massive construction site will be fully completed by 2030.
This initiative is evidence that the Mary region will achieve great progress not only in the industrial sector but also in terms of social amenities. The new town will include modern buildings, public facilities, and residential houses with all conveniences.
