
On Thursday, April 9, 2025, a significant event for the diplomatic corps of Turkmenistan took place in Washington, D.C. The newly appointed Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the United States of America, Esen Aydogdyev, officially presented the copy of his credentials.
The presentation ceremony was held at the historic Blair House — the official guest residence of the President of the United States. Ambassador Esen Aydogdyev was received by the Chief of Protocol of the United States, Monica Crowley.
The ceremony focused not only on protocol procedures but also on the current state of bilateral relations. High-ranking representatives of the U.S. Department of State, including Deputy Assistant Secretary John Pommersheim, attended the event. Following the ceremony, the American side organized an official reception in honor of the newly appointed diplomats.
During the event, views were exchanged on the further development of bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United States of America.
