Yesterday, esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system. A number of important issues related to various spheres of state life were considered, and ongoing work on the socio-economic development of the country was discussed. Improvement of national legislation and international relations Chairperson of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova reported on the work carried out to modernize national legislation, ensure the protection of human rights and freedoms, and state registration of rights to real estate. In addition, information was provided on meetings with the delegation of the Korean-Turkmen Interparliamentary Friendship Group within the framework of interparliamentary relations and cooperation with international organizations. The Head of State instructed to continue efforts to strengthen the legislative framework. Preparation for the investment forum and economic areas Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H. Geldimyradow reported on preparations for holding the Turkmenistan Investment Forum in Ashgabat in October of this year. It was noted that the forum includes issues of priority areas of economic growth, the fuel and energy sector, transport and communications, digital and "green" transformations, as well as public-private partnerships. The esteemed President approved this proposal and gave relevant instructions. Geological exploration and agricultural season Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers G. Agajanow reported on measures taken for the efficient use of mineral resources and exploration for rare minerals in accordance with international practices. Meanwhile, Vice-Premier T. Atahallyýew reported on seasonal work in the agricultural sector, specifically tending to cotton fields, preparations for the cotton harvest season, and the upcoming wheat sowing campaign. Energy and trade sector Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Annamämmedow reported on ongoing work to increase production capacity in the energy sector and reliably supply consumers with electricity. Vice-Premier N. Atagulyýew presented proposals on organizing the sale of school supplies in the country's velayats, the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag starting from August 1 of this year. The Head of State supported this initiative. Cultural and mass events and sports directions Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Seýidowa announced the schedule of cultural and mass events, creative contests, and educational conferences planned for August under the motto "Independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan — the homeland of galloping steeds." Additionally, Vice-Premier B. Mämmedow reported on preparations for a joint training camp involving the Abu Dhabi Cycling Club and the national team of our country, to be held in the capital. Foreign policy and international initiatives Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs R. Meredow delivered a detailed report on Turkmenistan's priorities at the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. The report highlighted key initiatives put forward to strengthen global peace, prepare a Global Peace Strategy, declare 2027–2037 as the UN Decade of "Dialogue and Preventive Diplomacy," as well as in sustainable transport, energy, ecology, the peaceful use of artificial intelligence, and international law. The esteemed President supported these proposals and instructed to ensure a high level of preparation for the session of the UN General Assembly. Improvement of railway transport Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Annaýew presented prepared proposals on modernizing the railway transport sector and constructing new railway station buildings in the velayats. The Head of State approved the proposals to construct these buildings in the Ahal, Balkan, and Mary velayats. Several other important issues of state life were considered at the meeting, and relevant decisions were adopted accordingly.
