Within the framework of the next meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), which is being held at the "Gara Gum" hotel in our capital, the meeting of representatives in a narrow format has begun. Since important political and economic negotiations are held in a closed format, this stage is usually considered the most profound and content-rich part of the summit.
During the meeting, the heads of government of the member states of the Commonwealth are discussing sustainable issues of economic cooperation, the future development of integration processes, and the implementation of joint projects within the CIS space.
As one of the main directions of the meeting's agenda, the report on the implementation of the Interstate Cooperation Program of the CIS member states in the fields of geodesy, cartography, spatial data, geoinformation technologies, remote sensing of the Earth, cadastral registration, and state registration of rights to immovable property, covering the period up to 2026, is being reviewed.
As a result of the negotiations, the parties are expected to agree on new directions of cooperation in the fields of digital infrastructure, spatial data exchange, and the introduction of modern geoinformation technologies into production.
