Ensuring environmental well-being is one of the priority tasks among the socio-economic reforms implemented in the modern era. For every state, protecting the environment, preventing climate change, and the rational use of ecology and natural resources are essential in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. By joining dozens of United Nations conventions on environmental well-being, our Motherland has proven by its own example that development can be achieved alongside solving global-scale problems. A clear example of this is our country's confident progress toward the goal of reducing emissions by 30 percent by 2030, in accordance with the Global Methane Pledge. The creation of vast forest zones in various parts of the country, the annual planting of thousands of tree saplings, and the effective operation of nature reserves have positively impacted climate change conditions. These measures have contributed to the enrichment of flora in our nature, the formation of favorable climate conditions, and the creation of opportunities for the safe life of animals. In Turkmenistan's environmental policy, a significant place is also given to the careful treatment of flora and fauna and the rational use of land and water resources. The creation of the "Altyn Asyr" Turkmen Lake in the heart of the Karakum Desert was one of the vital steps in achieving environmental security.
