In Dashoguz velayat, the Nowbahar and Azatlyk Farmers’ Associations in Shabat etrap hold a prominent place among the leading cotton-producing farms. As in previous years, the hardworking farmers achieved strong results this season and successfully fulfilled their contractual obligations for cotton production.

This was reported by Hudayguly Ashyrow, Chairman of the Shabat Etrap Committee of the Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan. A visit to the fields was arranged to congratulate the farmers on their achievements and learn more about their work.

Leaving the city of Dashoguz and crossing the overpass popularly known as “Belent Köpri” reveals vast stretches of cultivated land. The fields extending beyond it are a clear reflection of the dedicated work of Shabat’s cotton growers and the scale of their efforts to produce a rich harvest of “white gold”.
