"Green" Tints in Industry: Scientists Discussed Innovative Methods of Environmental Protection
On the eve of World Environment Day, a scientific-practical conference titled "The Role of Innovative Technologies in Ensuring Ecological Well-being" was held at the International Science and Technology Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.
Along with scientists, postgraduate students, and specialists from the International Science and Technology Park, lecturers from the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute also actively participated in the ecological forum.
During the conference, issues regarding the integration of "green" technologies into production—one of the most crucial directions of modern times—were discussed in detail. Furthermore, a presentation of specific scientific-research developments by scientists and specialists took place. The conference focused primarily on the following important scientific and practical issues:
- Recycling of Industrial Waste: Efficient utilization of waste and methods for using them in the fight against soil salinization;
- Atmospheric and Gas Purification: New scientifically-based ways to purify harmful gases generated during welding operations;
- Alternative Energy Sources: Innovative methods of producing syngas (synthesis gas) from thermal waste emissions;
- Rational Utilization: Accurate calculation of production capacities and the economical use of the country's natural resources.
In Turkmenistan, great attention is paid to the issues of environmental protection and ensuring ecological well-being at the state level. All the projects and scientific works presented during the conference will be implemented within the framework of our state's long-term environmental policy, making a major contribution to the practical implementation of the latest scientific achievements into production.
