Hot preparations for the grain harvest season are underway in Sayat

In Lebap Velayat, one of the most fertile corners of our country, highly responsible and organized preparations for the upcoming grain harvest season are being carried out these days. The workers of Sayat Etrap are also laboring fervently to harvest the rich crop grown in the white wheat fields without any loss and to deliver it to the homeland's granary.

According to Ogulnur Hayydova, an agronomist of Sayat Etrap of the "Lebapgallaönümleri" production association and a deputy of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, this year it is planned to harvest more than 46,400 tons of wheat from a total area of 16,155 hectares across the etrap. In order to lay a solid foundation for the rich harvest of future years, special seed wheat was cultivated on 4,800 hectares of these fields.

To organize the grain harvest in a short time and without interruption, the material and technical base of machinery has been brought to a state of full readiness. During this glorious season, a total of 35 powerful combines will operate smoothly across the etrap. Fourteen of them will be specifically directed to harvesting the seed crop. Also, 58 trucks and 62 tractor trailers will be deployed to the fields of fervent labor to transport grain from the fields to the grain reception points.

All conditions and opportunities have been created in the region to harvest grain crops, which are the wealth and abundance of our people, evenly and quickly. The grain growers of Sayat Etrap aim to harvest the desired crop from the fields and approach the glorious 35th anniversary of the sacred Independence of our beloved Motherland with labor gifts.
