A regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers was held under the leadership of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow. It discussed important issues related to improving the country's legislative framework, the economy, oil and gas, energy, agriculture, transport, and education sectors.

Reports were also heard at the meeting on preparations for the 111th meeting of the CIS Economic Council to be held in Ashgabat in September, as well as on ongoing work to organize events marking the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence.

Regarding agriculture, it was noted that preparations are underway for the wheat sowing campaign for the 2027 harvest, and work related to the cotton harvesting season is being carried out. The Head of State gave his blessing to start wheat sowing on September 2 and cotton harvesting on September 9.

In addition, issues concerning preparations for the new academic year, the commissioning of new educational facilities, the presentation of "Bilimli" laptops to first-grade students, and the holding of a road safety month in September were discussed.

Information was also presented at the meeting on the work being done to develop Turkmenistan's cooperation with the UN, implement the outcomes of the international conference held in Avaza, and increase the carrying capacity of the railway system.

At the end of the meeting, relevant decisions were adopted on other important issues of state life.
