These days, as in all parts of our province, skilled farmers of the «Güneş» agricultural association in Halaç district are working diligently to make a worthy contribution to the golden harvest of our homeland in the Year of «Independent, everlasting Neutral Turkmenistan — the land of swift, strong horses». They carefully tend the fields, preparing them for cotton sowing.
Last year, the farm successfully organized the grain harvest and fulfilled 130% of its contractual obligations to supply food grain to the state. Skilled harvesters achieved good growth on 308 hectares of wheat. The soil was enriched with mineral and organic fertilizers before sowing, which had a positive effect. Young crops were surrounded with care as soon as they emerged from the ground. Currently, mineral fertilization and irrigation are being carried out for the second time at full pace.
The farm has long been led by the experienced agricultural worker Shohrat Seytiyev, who successfully manages operations in any season. Therefore, current activities include tending the autumn fields and preparing for spring sowing.
The farm employs 34 contracted grain workers, all experienced. Among them, Nobat Haýydow, Hakberdi Chopanov, Nazar Allakow, and Maksat Jumanazarow serve as exemplary models for their colleagues through their diligent work. Last year, their results were impressive — yield per hectare reached 50–60 centners, and contractual obligations to supply wheat to the state were fulfilled with surplus.
The farm also has 22 contracted cotton workers who are working diligently. Fields are being leveled, and irrigation water is being collected. These hardworking cotton workers also completed their tasks with high results in the Year of International Peace and Understanding, fulfilling contractual obligations to supply cotton first in the province, marking our Independence Day with pride.
Special recognition is given to the skilled worker of the first group, Döwletgeldi Allakow, who signed a contract with the farm 5 years ago and sowed wheat and cotton on 15.5 hectares. Last year, the cotton yield per hectare reached 29 centners, almost doubling the previous results. He is now preparing his fields for next year’s spring sowing, with the help of his wife Aknabat and son Azat. Coordinated work always brings good results.
We wish Shohrat Seytiyev, awarded the Jubilee Medal «30 Years of Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan», great achievements in the upcoming season.
