In the city of Mary, employees of Maryşähergaz, an enterprise under the Marygazü Üpçünçilik Directorate of the Türkmengaz State Concern, are preparing the gas network for the autumn-winter season and replacing worn-out gas pipelines. These measures are aimed at ensuring an uninterrupted supply of natural gas to residents during the cold months.

The enterprise’s specialists maintain gas pipelines operating at different pressure levels, with a total length of more than 574,000 metres. The network supplies natural gas to 41,099 households in Mary, as well as more than 200 state-owned and private enterprises.

As part of the preparations, a new 900-metre medium-pressure gas pipeline was built and commissioned in the Mülkbagşy residential area. More than 1,100 metres of ageing pipes were also replaced in the same area, while over 500 metres were renewed in the Muhadow residential area.

In addition, since the beginning of the year, two new gas distribution points and 21 gas pressure-regulating units have been installed and commissioned in the city. These efforts help improve the reliability of the gas supply system and ensure the proper operation of gas pipelines.

Experienced employees and young specialists work together to maintain the gas network. External gas pipeline fitters Guwanç Durdygylyjow and Rahat Agaorazow, along with internal gas equipment specialists Rejep Kyýasow and Maksat Yslamow, share their professional experience with younger colleagues.

According to Süleýman Hojagulyýew, head of the Maryşähergaz enterprise, the team’s main objective is to prevent disruptions to the city’s gas supply during the winter season.

The enterprise’s employees also visit secondary schools and kindergartens in Mary to provide guidance on the safe use of natural gas. During these meetings, pupils and teachers are informed about the importance of complying with safety requirements when using gas equipment.
