President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has arrived in Georgia for his first two-day state visit. This visit marks a new chapter in the history of political relations between the two friendly countries.

At the Shota Rustaveli International Airport in Tbilisi, the high-ranking guest was met by official representatives of Georgia. A guard of honor was lined up in honor of the guest at the airport, and the state flags of the two countries were raised.

Main focus areas of the visit:

  • High-level talks: During the visit, the President of Turkmenistan will hold talks with the leadership of Georgia in both narrow and extended formats.
  • Economic cooperation: The program includes holding a Turkmen-Georgian business forum and organizing an exhibition of products manufactured in Turkmenistan.

Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Georgia were established on July 16, 1992. Agreements reached at the highest level over the past period have created a solid foundation for long-term partnership and mutually beneficial relations between the two countries.

This visit by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov will provide a significant impetus to further activate the political dialogue and elevate trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian relations between the two states to a new level.
