Throughout the centuries, the Turkmen people have held universal human values in high esteem. Such noble traditions strengthen humanity and brotherhood. As is known, the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan creates a sense of pride in our people. According to beliefs, during this month, the qualities of humanity and patience in people increase even more. Dedicating the month of Ramadan, which brings light to our hearts and abundance to our tables, to meritorious deeds certainly gives meaning to human life. It begins with children visiting every house to sing "Yaremezan" and bring the good news. Rhymes and poems beginning with the words "There is a Moon above..." are especially impressive when performed enthusiastically by children. At that moment, adults join in the joy of the children and hand them sweets prepared in advance. This further increases the happiness of the younger generation. These noble traditions inherited from our ancestors represent an example of humanism and mutual respect between elders and juniors. Indeed, for every Muslim to fast and give alms during this month is more beneficial and rewarding than on ordinary days. Sharing bread and gathering around one table during iftar brings peace to human souls. In this holy month that inspires hearts and increases rewards, it is important for each of us to dedicate every moment to good deeds and spend time in righteous worship. In such a blessed month, may the good wishes and fasts of every person be accepted!
