RESOLUTION of the Presidium of the People's Council of Turkmenistan on convening a meeting of the People's Council of Turkmenistan
In the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, in the year of "Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan — the Land of Great Achievements," relying on the centuries-old experience of our glorious ancestors in state governance, in order to implement historical tasks on the development of national democratic principles, based on statehood and legality, continuing the path of our glorious ancestors and following their wise behests, in order to ensure broad participation of representatives of our people in solving important issues of state and public life, creatively improving the successes achieved in strengthening the unity and cohesion of society, as well as to ensure the organized conduct of the meeting of the supreme representative body representing the interests of the people of Turkmenistan — the People's Council of Turkmenistan, the Presidium of the People's Council of Turkmenistan resolves:
- To convene the next meeting of the People's Council of Turkmenistan on September 23, 2026, and to hold it at the Maslahat Palace in the city of Ashgabat.
- The People's Councils of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat, in accordance with the Procedure for nominating public representatives to the People's Council of Turkmenistan, approved by the Resolution of the Presidium of the People's Council of Turkmenistan on convening and organizing the meeting of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, shall submit to the Office of the People's Council of Turkmenistan the lists of public representatives by velayats, and the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, for the membership of the People's Council of Turkmenistan by September 1, 2026.
