President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council. The results of the work carried out by military and law enforcement agencies over the past five months of this year were reviewed, and future tasks were identified.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to ensuring the security and stability of our independent state, strengthening the material and technical base of military structures, and improving the professional level of personnel.
Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense B. Gundogdyev reported on measures taken to develop the Armed Forces, improve the living conditions of military personnel, and the organized progress of the military conscription. The President noted the importance of increasing the defensive capability of the National Army and educating soldiers in a spirit of patriotism.
- General Prosecutor’s Office: Instructions were given to strengthen oversight of the rule of law and to take measures to prevent violations.
- Ministry of Internal Affairs: Instructions were given to maintain public order and strictly adhere to traffic and fire safety rules.
- Judiciary: Instructions were given regarding the protection of citizens' rights in accordance with national legislation and improving the professional skills of judicial staff. The Head of State signed documents on the appointment and dismissal of judges.
- Ministry of National Security: Reported on the implementation of the digital system in ensuring stability in the country.
- State Border Service: Ensuring the reliable protection of our sacred borders and improving the service and living conditions of border guards were identified as priority tasks.
- Ministry of Justice: Reported on the work being carried out to bring national legislation into line with the requirements of the time and international standards.
- Customs and Migration Services: The need to implement the latest technologies and improve the quality of services in these agencies was emphasized.
Concluding the meeting, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that, in accordance with the requirements of the Military Doctrine, strengthening the country’s defense capability and improving the social conditions of the defenders of the Motherland will always remain in the center of attention.
At the end of the meeting, the Head of State wished the participants great success in their responsible work.
