In the year "Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan — Land of Winged Horses and Fulfilled Dreams," during which the glorious 35th anniversary of our sacred Independence will be widely celebrated, the farmers of the Balkan region are providing proper care to the lands based on agrotechnical requirements. Throughout the region, they plan to systematically conduct cotton sowing on 13,000 hectares during the upcoming season and aim to harvest 16,000 tons of abundant crop this year.
In this regard, the rural workers of the region are daily increasing their labor pace, guided by the instructions given by our esteemed President during digital work meetings attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan in charge of the agricultural complex and the governors (khyakims) of the regions. These days, as part of the intensive preparations for this vital season, the mechanics and engineering-technical staff of the "Balkanobahyzmat" production association are showing particular activity. Specifically, the "Obahyzmat" production enterprises of the Gyzylarbat and Bereket districts are carrying out purposeful work to prepare powerful machinery for cotton sowing. It is worth noting that they successfully completed plowing, leveling, and furrowing in the Gyzylarbat, Bereket, Magtymguly, Etrek, and Esenguly districts for the lands to be sown this spring. The irrigation systems of the region's fields have also been cleaned and reliably prepared for the next season. Furthermore, high-yielding cotton seeds suitable for the soil and climatic conditions of the western region have been selected.
During this spring season of the year "Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan — Land of Winged Horses and Fulfilled Dreams," characterized by high labor enthusiasm, pleasant weather, and rainfall, the tireless efforts of the Balkan farmers are meeting with success. This indicates that their endeavors to conduct the upcoming cotton sowing in a short time and with high quality will be successful. According to experts, 35 seeders and 117 row-crop cultivators have currently been repaired and fully prepared for the sowing season in the region. All powerful machinery of various types in the fields has been thoroughly inspected by skilled and experienced specialists.
Preventive measures have also been taken at the "Balkanobahyzmat" production association and its district enterprises to strictly comply with fire safety rules. Additionally, specially created technical service teams will operate during the responsible sowing season. These teams, consisting of repairers, mechanics, and relevant specialists, will immediately fix any malfunctions that may occur during the season. This will ensure that the sowing season is conducted at a high-quality level within the agrotechnical deadlines.
