
On April 21-22, Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, will become the center of strategically important meetings for Central Asia. The Regional Environmental Summit and the meeting of the Council of the Heads of the Founder States of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea (IFAS) will be held here with the participation of the regional Heads of State.

As a result of these important negotiations, the Joint Declaration of the Heads of State of Central Asia on Regional Environmental Cooperation is expected to be adopted. This document will strengthen the legal framework for future environmental projects.
Within the framework of the meeting of the Council of the Heads of the Founder States of IFAS, the signing of several important documents aimed at improving the situation in the Aral Sea region is also planned.
Turkmenistan, acting as an active supporter of international initiatives and regional diplomacy in this direction, continues to make a significant contribution to the resolution of environmental issues.
