English: "Azatlyk" Farmers' Association: High Labor Intensity for "White Gold"

The hardworking cotton farmers of the "Azatlyk" Farmers' Association in the Kerki district achieve high yields of cotton year after year. In the current year, held under the motto "The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi," they have sown cotton on 9400 hectares of land, aiming to produce 20500 tons of "white gold."

These days, work is in full swing in the cotton fields. Inter-row cultivation, fertilizing, and irrigation of the cotton plants are being carried out in a coordinated manner.

In this work, the farmers are closely assisted by machine operators from the association and the district’s "Obahyzmat" enterprise. 11 pieces of machinery are working seamlessly in the fields. Toyly Jorayev, Shamyrat Haytmuradov, Bayram Hezzekov, and Haytmyrat Ahmedov are setting an example for their colleagues by performing high-quality field work and operating their equipment efficiently.

We recently checked on the work of the 5th tenant team, led by Atamyrat Ataniyazov. We visited the 5-hectare plot of the skilled tenant Jemile Setdarova. Her extensive farming experience is evident in the healthy state of the cotton. She consistently achieves high results: last year, she harvested 39 centners per hectare instead of the planned 30. This year, she aims for 45 centners per hectare. She is assisted in following agrotechnical standards by her husband, Rahmanberdi Setdarov.

In the neighboring plot, Jumasoltan Deryayeva is tending to 4 hectares. She is also one of the team's top tenants, working in friendly competition with her neighbor, Jemile. As the team leader Atamyrat Ataniyazov notes, "Our team sowed 86 hectares this year. Favorable weather conditions led to good germination. We plan to harvest 270 tons of cotton, exceeding our 250-ton target."
