If you go to the market or a store intending to "buy some grapes," you linger for a while, unable to decide which of the beautiful, glistening bunches to choose, as if each one is calling out, "Pick me, pick me." It is very pleasing that at least 3 to 4 varieties of this fruit are always abundantly available. Of course, it must be said that this is due to the tireless efforts of our skilled tenants and specialized viticulture farms. One such hardworking farmer devoted to his craft is Nurjagdy Rejebow, a tenant at the "Abadan" daikhan association in the Ak bugday etrap of Akhal velayat.
According to Nurjagdy Rejebow, he has been cultivating various varieties of this healing fruit and harvesting abundant yields for about fifteen years. On his 3 hectares of land, he plants grape varieties such as "Bidane" (seedless), "Gelinbarmak", "Gyzyl uzyum" (red grape), and "Taipy". When we asked him about the volume of his annual harvest, he replied: "Everything depends on destiny. It cannot be predetermined precisely, but if you do not spare your efforts, you can harvest approximately 20 to 25 tons per hectare. Not all grape varieties are the same, which must also be mentioned. For example, 'Bidane' yields more harvest compared to other varieties." We wish the hardworking tenant every success and good fortune in his dedicated work.
