The courageous cotton growers of the "Chohpetde" farmers' association in the Halach etrap, having completed the cotton sowing in early terms and with high quality, managed to achieve good germination in the fields. Currently, inter-row cultivation and meticulous crop care are being carried out at a rapid pace in the cotton fields of the farm. In this important agrotechnical measure, skilled mechanization specialists of the farmers' association and the etrap's "Obahyzmat" production enterprise are closely assisting the cotton growers.
Expert mechanization specialists such as Shanazar Abdyllayev, Batyr Hudaynazarov, and Jumamyrat Jumayev demonstrate great dedication during the cultivation period, each performing high-quality work on 8–9 hectares of land daily, serving as a model for their colleagues.
In this season, the 1st leaseholder group led by Gozel Kadyrova, the 2nd group led by Gandymguly Bayekov, and the 4th group led by Rozygeldi Akyýev managed to come to the forefront. The harvest masters of these groups, who are among the leaders of the etrap, are conductively carrying out works to loosen the inter-rows of cotton and feed the crops with mineral fertilizers.
According to the statement of Almaz Hudaykulov, the economist of the farmers' association, "Yoloten-39" and the Republic of Uzbekistan's "Bukhara-10" seed varieties of cotton were sown on 1010 hectares of land across the farm this year. The cotton-growing leaseholders aim to produce a total of 3110 tons of "white gold" from this area and deliver it to the homeland's harvest.
The leading and experienced leaseholders of the farm, Ayjemal Abdyllayeva, Akjagul Bayekova, and Merdan Akyýev, obtained more than 40 centners of yield per hectare last year. Their main goal this year is to perform inter-row cultivation and weeding of cotton on time, increasing the productivity of each hectare to 45–50 centners. The healthily growing cotton in the fields, embedded with the dedication of the courageous farmers, signals that a strong foundation for a bountiful harvest has been laid.
