Aylar Kurbaniyazowa, a teacher at Secondary School No. 33 in Sayat, explains to students the meaning and importance of the year’s motto, “Independent, Everlasting Neutral Turkmenistan — the Land of Swift Akhal-Teke Horses,” during every lesson and class hour.
During the 5th-grade class hour on the topic “Akhal-Teke Horse — Our Wings,” students were given interesting information. Emphasis was placed on the nation’s love for Akhal-Teke horses, passed down through centuries and reflected in the works of poets across different historical periods.
Students learned that Akhal-Teke horses are called “Heavenly Horses” and are widely known. In the works of great poets Magtymguly Pyragy, commander-poet Seyitnazar Seydi, Annaglych Mätäji, and Gurbanaly Magrup, the role of the horse in Turkmen society is extensively described.
The lesson concluded with students memorizing poems about horses or drawing them to reinforce the topic.
