New Achievements of Lebap Livestock Breeders: Lambing Season Nears Completion
In the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, our country's agricultural sector, including the livestock industry, is experiencing steady growth. During this year’s crucial season, livestock breeders in the Lebap region are working diligently to fulfill the plan of obtaining 1,261,714 lambs and kids.
To reach this significant milestone, breeders took careful measures well in advance. The foundation for current results was laid by ensuring livestock were well-fed and kept warm in remote winter pastures, along with the preparation of surplus fodder reserves. The early and abundant rainfall this spring caused the steppes to be blanketed in lush greenery. These favorable natural conditions provided additional momentum for the shepherds and helped organize the lambing season at a high level.
Currently, the region's livestock breeders have entered the final stage of the season. The achieved indicators testify to great labor victories:
- Contractual obligations across the region have already exceeded 98 percent.
- Shepherds from Charjew, Darganata, Danew, Farap, Sayat, Garabekewul, Halach, and Dowletli districts were the first to honorably reach their designated targets.
Throughout the season, special attention is paid not only to quantity but also to the quality of the offspring. Relevant specialists and veterinarians regularly monitor the health of the young animals. The primary goal is to retain the majority of the new generation for rearing to increase the overall livestock population.
This noble labor taking place in the vast steppes strengthens our country's food security and serves as a worthy contribution to ensuring an abundance of livestock products.
