On June 15, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev and provincial governors (hyakims). During the meeting, seasonal works in the country's agro-industrial complex and tasks stemming from the National Rural Program were discussed.

Key areas discussed:

  • Grain Harvest: The Head of State emphasized the necessity of harvesting grain crops in a short time without losses, ensuring uninterrupted intake at grain receiving facilities, and making timely payments to wheat producers.
  • Cotton Care: The importance of carrying out agrotechnical works, such as inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilizing, and irrigation of cotton fields within established timeframes, was highlighted.
  • Food Abundance: Instructions were given to harvest early potatoes, vegetables, and melons, as well as to conduct rice planting in Dashoguz and Lebap regions and prepare for sugar beet planting in Mary region in an organized manner.
  • Construction Works: In accordance with the National Rural Program, directives were given to supervise the quality and timelines of construction works on social, cultural, and industrial facilities scheduled for commissioning this year.

The President noted the important role of the agricultural sector in the national economy and instructed the regional governors and the deputy prime minister to take all necessary measures for the high-quality execution of seasonal activities.
