The film “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”, which was presented to audiences on the last Friday of June, has risen to third place on the list of the highest-grossing films of all time based on worldwide box office revenue.
The film’s box office revenue has approached $2.410 billion, allowing it to surpass “Titanic” ($2.258 billion) and “Avatar: The Way of Water” ($2.335 billion).
At present, only two films rank ahead of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”. They are “Avatar”, released in 2009, and “Avengers: Endgame”, released in 2019. “Avatar” earned $2.924 billion at the worldwide box office, while “Avengers: Endgame” grossed $2.798 billion.
At the same time, “Avengers: Endgame” is expected to return to cinemas in the near future. A theatrical re-release of “Avengers: Endgame” is planned ahead of the premiere of “Avengers: Doomsday”.
As a result of its re-release, the film’s total box office revenue could reach $3 billion, potentially allowing it to regain the title of the highest-grossing film of all time.
