A concert will be held at the specialized school of art of Lebap velayat to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the neutrality of Turkmenistan
On December 5, the specialized school of art of Lebap velayat will host a chamber music concert featuring works by Turkmen composers. This concert will commemorate the 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan.
The opening portion of the concert will feature a presentation of a new collection of musical notations and illustrations, ‘Six Children's Pieces for Piano’, by contemporary Russian composer, virtuoso pianist and teacher Mamed Guseynov. Renowned Turkmen art historian Yulia Jumayeva will speak about the collection.
The evening's program will feature chamber, instrumental and vocal works by Turkmen composers Danatar Ovezov, Chary Nurymov, Nury Halmammedov, Jeren Gurbangylyjova and Suhan Tuyliyev.
The works will be performed by leading teachers of the School of Art: Dilaram Avanesova (piano), Aziza Gayypova (piano), Mamagul Hutdyyeva (vocals) and Orazgul Bazarova (vocals). The accompanists will be Rano Tadjikhalova and Ajap Ilova.
Students of the ‘History and Theory of Music’ department will present their own musical compositions, created in various styles and genres. The event will also feature graduates of the School of Art: Ilshat Ildarov (vocal singing) and laureates of the IX Moscow International Arts Festival ‘Sounds of the Dutar’ named after Nury Halmammedov (2025), Selbi Imamova (vocal singing) and Aynur Kabulova (piano).
