Turkmenistan opens Central Asia’s first world-class scientific center for training Olympic champions
Turkmenistan has joined the ranks of countries developing sports based on scientific principles by opening the first world-class scientific research center in Central Asia dedicated to training Olympic champions, MIR 24 reports.
The center operates under the State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports and is equipped with the most modern technology for conducting advanced research. It collaborates with academic departments, trains students using objective data, and prepares specialists in sports medicine and biomechanics.
According to Anvar Yangibaev, a third-year student, the center makes it possible to combine classical education with deep analytical training. Another third-year student, Chinar Sabirova, added that the center is a large complex consisting of 13 sections and serves not only an educational purpose but also a scientific one.
Thus, Turkmenistan continues to focus its efforts on training future Olympic champions.
