A Branch of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation Opened in Avaza
A branch of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was opened on Tuesday in the National Tourist Zone Avaza. This was reported by Turkmenistan’s official media.
The new branch will function as a coordination center for organizing charitable, medical, and cultural events, as well as for providing advisory assistance to children. The building is equipped with modern facilities and meets current standards for medical and social institutions.
The opening ceremony was attended by heads and members of foreign delegations participating in the International Conference “The Role of Women in Modern Society: Developing International Cooperation in Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals,” as well as representatives of public organizations and the scientific community.
Oguljahan Atabaeva, Vice President for Medical Affairs of the Charitable Foundation, delivered a welcoming speech, noting that the opening of the branch in Avaza is an important stage in the development of the Foundation’s humanitarian activities. It was emphasized that supporting children remains one of the priorities of Turkmenistan’s state policy.
Founded in March 2021, the Charitable Foundation actively develops partnerships with international organizations of similar profile. Since its establishment, the Foundation has provided assistance to children affected by natural disasters in various countries and has also ensured treatment for children in need within Turkmenistan.
