A health assessment system has been developed in Russia

Experts at Penza State University (PSU) have created a unique system for comprehensive health assessment. This innovative development, for the first time, takes into account not only standard medical indicators but also the ecological impacts of regions and the patient’s psycho-emotional state.

The PSU system incorporates a broad ecological component into health evaluation. This includes regular monitoring of physical factors (such as noise and electromagnetic radiation), biological factors (presence of harmful bacteria and microorganisms in soil and water), as well as chemical factors (levels of pollutants in water, air, and soil).

The “Health+” program operates as follows: the doctor inputs initial information about the patient (region, city, personal insurance number (SNILS), gender, and age). Then data from pre-filled questionnaires and tests are automatically uploaded, including indicators of chronic diseases (both personal and family history), physical activity, sleep duration, harmful habits, and stress levels. Ecological data are automatically downloaded from official websites of state environmental agencies, along with information about the living conditions in the region (income, employment, demographics). As a result, a colored graph displaying the patient’s health status appears on the doctor’s screen.
