A presentation of the new book by the President of Turkmenistan was held in Ashgabat
At the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, a presentation of the new book by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, “The Neutrality of Turkmenistan – a Bright Path of Peace and Trust”, took place, TDH reports.
The book emphasizes the importance of the country’s permanent neutrality, recognized three times by the UN General Assembly, and broadly highlights historical initiatives aimed at ensuring universal peace and trust.
The work consists of 9 chapters, with special attention given to key milestones in the formation of Turkmen neutrality and its significance in ensuring global peace, security, and sustainable development.
In the final section of the book, “The International Year of Peace and Trust: Historical Documents, Congratulations, and Speech”, significant space is devoted to the relations established by the country during the years of neutrality, the President’s speeches at international forums, as well as international agreements concluded on bilateral and multilateral bases.
As noted in the book, about 30 documents have been signed with UN institutions operating in the country in areas such as maternal and child protection, women’s health, pediatrics, education, and the provision of social services to children. Relevant work is being carried out to ensure their successful implementation.
Published at a high printing quality, the book is available to the general public in three languages – Turkmen, English, and Russian. Great attention was paid to its artistic design, the source notes.
