Turkmenistan expresses concern over Israeli missile attacks on Iran
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan issued a statement in response to Israeli missile attacks on populated areas and facilities in Iran.
The ministry voiced concern over rising tensions in the Middle East and called for a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
"Turkmenistan emphasizes the need to use only political and diplomatic means to resolve complex situations, in accordance with the UN Charter and international law," the statement said.
The country reiterated its internationally recognized status of permanent neutrality and stated that it does not accept the use of force or threats of force in resolving political or other issues.
