City Stage of the “Once Upon a Time” Contest Held in Türkmenabat
The city stage of the “Once Upon a Time” contest was held at the 4th Kindergarten in Türkmenabat, organized by the Provincial Department of Education. Children from various kindergartens across the city participated in the event.
The purpose of the contest is to cultivate in children a sense of respect for the homeland and parents through fairy tales, to foster pride in folk art and traditions, and to develop their speaking skills and ability to tell stories creatively.
The games and performances were conducted in two stages. In the first stage, children retold fairy tales, revealing the content and characteristics of the story’s heroes. Then, talented children competed in performing the tales on stage. This stage evaluated their preparation, stage presence, and expressive speech.
According to the results of the contest:

1st place – children from the 47th Kindergarten.

2nd place – children from the 51st Kindergarten.

3rd place – children from the 64th Kindergarten.
The winners of the contest were awarded commemorative gifts by the organizers.
