The provincial branch of the “Türkmenbaşy” Joint-Stock Commercial Bank of Turkmenistan informs that it provides loans to small and medium-sized businesses. The purpose of these loans is to support entrepreneurship at the state level, create new jobs, fill the market with local products, develop competition, increase investment activity, and implement investment projects in priority areas important for the country's economy.
Entrepreneur lending is carried out considering the bank’s margin, at an annual rate of 5%, under the following terms:
— up to 10 years for investment projects;
— up to 1 year for purchasing working capital.
The following types of investment projects are eligible for crediting:
— development of industrial product manufacturing;
— construction, expansion, renewal and technical re-equipment of existing productions, including the purchase of equipment for small industries, small machinery, raw materials, semi-finished products and components;
— construction and development of infrastructure facilities;
— development of construction materials industry;
— development of transport, communications, and information technology;
— development of service sectors and social services for the population;
— development of healthcare and tourism services;
— development of new agricultural lands and restoration of abandoned areas;
— development and expansion of agricultural production, increasing the volume of processed products, purchasing agricultural machinery, livestock, poultry, feed, veterinary medicines, plant protection chemicals, fertilizers, seeds, seedlings, tree saplings;
— production of national handicrafts and decorative-applied arts;
— other types of entrepreneurial activity not prohibited by Turkmen law, including innovation activity.
Loans are issued on the condition that entrepreneurs contribute at least 15% of their own funds to the financing of the investment project.
