International Chess Tournament Among Young Players Kicks Off in Ashgabat

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed the opening of the tournament and congratulated the young chess players and guests. According to the President, this international tournament is not only a sports competition but also an important cultural and sporting event that promotes peace, friendship, and mutual understanding among nations.

Ashgabat, which has been declared "The City of New Sports Opportunities," is a result of the large-scale reforms in this area.
