President of the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan Discussed the Preparation of a Cooperation Agreement with the ITF President

In London, during the prestigious Wimbledon tennis tournament, a meeting took place between the President of the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan and Vice-President of the Asian Tennis Federation, Eziz Dovletov, and the President of the International Tennis Federation (ITF), David Haggerty.
The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of preparing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan and the International Tennis Federation. This document is aimed at strengthening cooperation and actively integrating Turkmen tennis into the international community.
The memorandum envisions initiatives such as training and professional development of coaches, experience exchange, and involving foreign experts in the training of athletes.
The meeting also included a detailed discussion about the upcoming ITF Level 2 regional training seminar, which will be held in Ashgabat from August 4 to 15. Twelve Turkmen tennis specialists are expected to participate in the seminar.
In addition, the recent achievements of Turkmen tennis players were highlighted. Notably, the U12 girls' team’s advancement to the finals of the Asian Team Championship was emphasized, along with the strong performances of the men’s and women’s national teams in international competitions.
