"Shagadam" aims for the final of the Turkmenistan Cup 2025 in football
The footballers of Turkmenbashy's “Shagadam” took an important step toward reaching the final of the Turkmenistan Cup 2025 by defeating “Ahal” 2–1 in the first semifinal match.
The game was played in the city of Turkmenbashi.
The victory for the team of the honored coach Ali Gurbani was secured by goals from Azizbek Bekchanov (2nd minute) and Gurban-guly Garaev (86th minute). The visitors responded in the 27th minute with a precise shot by Nazar Tovakelov.
On November 26, the opponents will meet again at the “Shagadam” stadium, but this time within the rescheduled match of the 19th round of the Turkmenistan Championship, in which both teams are competing for the silver and bronze medals.
In the other semifinal match of the Turkmenistan Cup 2025, as previously reported, “Arkadag” defeated “Ashgabat” 3–1 away.
The second-leg semifinal matches will take place on December 18.
The final is planned to be held on December 27 in Ashgabat.
