$132 Million Purse for One Fight
Oleksandr Usyk, the sole undisputed heavyweight champion in professional boxing, received a record-breaking purse for his recent fight against British boxer Daniel Dubois.
The total purse for the fight amounted to $203.5 million, with $132.28 million going to Usyk and the remaining $71.22 million to Dubois.
For comparison, in their previous fight in 2023, the two boxers earned only $6 million and $2 million respectively.
It is worth noting that Usyk previously earned his largest purse in a planned fight against Tyson Fury, for which he was paid $114 million.
