6G Internet Network Tested

China has become the first country in the world to launch the 6G internet network. Currently, this 6G network is used only in experimental mode, and it is reported that a 50 GB file can be downloaded in just 1.5 seconds.
The company that conducted this experiment is the Chinese telecommunications giant China Mobile, which carried out the test at 10 major stations across the country. The company’s investment in the 6G network amounts to 5.4 billion US dollars.
The speed demonstrated in the 6G network test reached 280 Gbit per second, which is 14 times faster than the highest speed of the current 5G network.
Alongside developing the 6G network, China Mobile continues to strengthen its 5G and 5G-A networks. The company has established 2.4 million 5G stations across the country, which is 30% more than the number of 5G stations in other countries worldwide.
The 6G internet network is expected to be widely and publicly available by the year 2030.
