Disappointment for fans: Real lost to Atletico, Liverpool defeated by Crystal Palace

The defeats of two of the world’s most supported football clubs added drama to the latest rounds of La Liga and the English Premier League.

In the seventh match of La Liga, held on September 27, Real Madrid was beaten away by city rivals Atletico Madrid with a score of 5–2. The goals for the home team were scored by Leo Norman (14'), Sørloth (45+3'), Álvarez (51', 63'), and Griezmann (90+3'). Real’s goals came from Mbappé (25') and Güler (36').

Despite this latest defeat, Real still leads the league table with 18 points. Atletico, now with 12 points, has moved into the top four.

In the sixth match of the Premier League, Liverpool was defeated by Crystal Palace. The game took place at Selhurst Park in London. The goals for the home side were scored by Sarr (9') and Nketiah (90+7'), while Liverpool’s only goal came from Chiesa (87').

Even with the loss, Liverpool remains at the top of the table with 15 points. Crystal Palace, now with 12 points, is in second place.
