Entrance Exams Have Begun in Turkmenistan

On July 30, entrance exams started in Turkmenistan for admission to the country’s higher education institutions, as well as to secondary vocational schools specializing in teaching, medicine, and culture.
The entrance exams for admission are being held at the locations of the higher and secondary vocational education institutions.
According to the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan’s “Amul Info,” for the 2025–2026 academic year, it is planned to admit 16,782 students to higher education institutions and 10,879 to secondary vocational schools.
As previously reported, official application documents for admission to higher education institutions, as well as to secondary vocational schools in teaching, medical, and cultural fields, were accepted from July 14 to July 27. Meanwhile, applications for secondary vocational schools in financial-economic and commercial fields will be accepted until August 18.
It is also worth noting that starting from the new academic year, four specialist programs, five bachelor’s programs, and four master’s programs have been opened in Turkmenistan’s higher education institutions.
