Festive Horse Races in Lebap on the Occasion of a Triple Holiday

Yesterday, on the occasion of three significant dates celebrated in our country, the spring horse races held at the Lebap Hippodrome became a true festivity for the residents of the eastern region. Five thrilling races were organized: the first two were held over a distance of 1400 meters, and the remaining three over 1800 meters.

Race Results:

First Race (for horses aged four and older, 1400m):

The bay horse Goshun, representing the Lebap branch of the Mary State Horse Breeding Plant, had no equal. Experienced jockey M. Toraev completed the distance in 1 minute 24.1 seconds.

Second and third places also went to horses from the same branch — Garashsyz and Armangala.

Second Race (three-year-olds, 1400m):

The bay mare Aygysy, owned by the private enterprise “Tebigy Ekin”, won with a time of 1 minute 16.7 seconds — the best time of the day at this distance.

The small mare Shasenem from T. Shanyyazov’s farm completed it in 1:19.2, followed closely by Aynazik from the Lebap Customs Office, just 0.4 seconds behind.

Third Race (1800m):

Jockey M. Toraev scored his second victory riding the bay horse Gozhadag, representing the regional court, with a time of 1 minute 36.8 seconds.

Second place went to Sanzhar (A. Ovezgeldyev’s farm), and third to Teleke (B. Guvandyyev’s farm).

Fourth Race (1800m):

The bay horse Parasat from the regional police department, under jockey M. Tejenov, finished first with a time of 1:39.2.

Guvanjym (I. Khudaynazarov’s farm) came second, and Kopel (S. Atadzhanov) took third.

Fifth and Final Race (1800m):

M. Tejenov claimed another victory, finishing first on the black horse Gadamly from the Turkmenabat city prosecutor’s office, with the best time for this distance — 1:33.6.

Garadepel (D. Pirnazarov’s farm) and Merkid (A. Achylov) took second and third places, respectively.

Valuable gifts were awarded to the winners of the spring races on behalf of the esteemed President.
