Former Inter coach begins a new chapter with Al-Hilal
After successful years at Inter, Simone Inzaghi has terminated his contract with the Milan club and is preparing to join Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal. As a Serie A champion and multiple trophy winner, he now enters a new stage of his career in the Middle East.
As previously reported by well-known insider Fabrizio Romano, the 49-year-old Italian coach reached an agreement with Inter’s management to terminate his contract. His appointment as head coach of Al-Hilal could be officially announced in the coming days.
Simone Inzaghi took over Inter in 2021. In the 2023/2024 season, he led the team to the Serie A title. With the Nerazzurri, he also won the Coppa Italia twice, the Supercoppa Italiana three times, and reached the Champions League final twice.
