Galkynyş FC – A Rising Team with a Future Star
Founded in 2018, Galkynyş FC has become a source of pride for football fans in Lebap province. Despite being a relatively new team, they claimed first place in regional competitions for three consecutive years — 2021, 2022, and 2023 — marking a significant success on the football field.
The team is coached by the experienced Halmurat Nowruzov from the 3rd sports school. Under his guidance, the club has developed a strong roster and is preparing to step beyond local competition into the national football scene.
The squad consists of 18 young and talented players. Among them, one stands out — the team captain and rising star, Orazmyrat Garajanov.
Born in 2009, Orazmyrat currently plays not only for Galkynyş FC but also represents the national youth team of Turkmenistan. He is recognized as one of the top scorers among the country's young players. His impressive speed, game vision, and goal-scoring ability have led football experts to dub him the “Future Messi or Ronaldo.”
The team’s name — "Galkynyş", which means “Revival” — reflects not only its title but also its mission. Through football, the club fosters youth spirit, physical fitness, and patriotic values, aiming to inspire the future of Turkmen football.
