International Turkmen Travel 2026 Forum to Unite Global Tourism Leaders

The Ministry of Culture, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, in cooperation with Talwas Yoly CJSC and the Oguz Forum&Expo division, have announced the organization of the international tourism forum and exhibition Turkmen Travel 2026.

The event will take place on April 14–16, 2026, at the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

The forum will bring together leading representatives of the global tourism industry, including tour operators, airlines, hotel chains, and experts in cultural heritage and ecotourism. Participants will be presented with new tourist destinations, discussions on prospects for international cooperation, and demonstrations of advanced technological solutions in modern tourism.

Special attention will be given to ecotourism, ethnographic tourism, and health and wellness tourism based on Turkmenistan’s unique natural resources.

The main objective of the forum is to strengthen cooperation with international companies, showcase Turkmenistan’s unique tourism potential, and position the country as a promising partner for the exchange of knowledge, experience, and technology.

Key focus areas include:

  • development of the hospitality industry;

  • digitalization of tourism services;

  • strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.

A Platform for Dialogue and Innovation

The event will serve as a platform for presenting innovative projects and hosting B2B and B2G meetings aimed at fostering dialogue between government authorities, businesses, and the tourism industry. These formats will enable participants to discuss priority areas for tourism development in detail, exchange best practices, and develop joint initiatives.

The Turkmen Travel 2026 Forum is expected to become an important step in promoting Turkmenistan on the global tourism stage, highlighting its historic role as a key link of the Great Silk Road—a route that for centuries strengthened trade, cultural, and scientific ties among nations—while also demonstrating growing investor interest in the country and its commitment to implementing modern technologies and supporting innovative projects in the tourism sector.
