Neutrality Policy – A Firm Foundation for Peace and Stability in the World

In the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, Turkmenistan’s foreign policy aimed at ensuring peace, stability, and equal cooperation with world countries was initiated by our Hero-Arkadag and is now being successfully continued under the leadership of the esteemed President. This policy strengthens Turkmenistan’s position in the international arena and emphasizes the value of its neutral status, which is based on humanitarian principles.
The uniqueness of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality lies in its creative approach to promoting peace, friendship, and mutual trust. This approach is enriched with new ideas and practical experiences while remaining firmly rooted in its humane and peaceful character.
Today, Turkmenistan’s neutrality policy acts as a crucial condition for regional and global peace and sustainable development. Preventive diplomacy is an inseparable part of this policy.
A vivid example of this was the opening of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia in Ashgabat in 2007, based on the resolution of the UN General Assembly. This center continues to contribute to peace and stability in the region.
