President of Azerbaijan Expresses Gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a letter to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in which he expressed his appreciation for supporting the decision on Azerbaijan’s accession to the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia as a full-fledged participant. This was reported on Wednesday by Turkmenistan's official media.
Ilham Aliyev noted that this decision confirms the friendly and brotherly nature of relations between the two countries and creates new opportunities for strengthening cooperation in political, economic, transport, energy, humanitarian and other mutually beneficial areas.
The President of Azerbaijan emphasized that the outcomes of the 7th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia will contribute to unlocking the potential of multilateral cooperation, strengthening friendship among nations, and ensuring sustainable development of the region.
At the end of the letter, Ilham Aliyev wished Serdar Berdimuhamedov strong health and success, and the people of Turkmenistan peace and prosperity.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev also sent a letter of gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
