President Shavkat Mirziyoyev Arrived in Awaza
As further evidence of the high level of brotherly and strategic partnership relations between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, on August 4, 2025, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, arrived in the city of Turkmenbashi.
According to “Türkmenhowaýollary” (Turkmen Airlines), the high-ranking guest’s aircraft landed at Turkmenbashi International Airport. President Mirziyoyev was warmly and ceremoniously welcomed in a manner reflecting the enduring friendship between the two brotherly nations.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s participation in the third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries adds significant prestige to the forum. This visit is important not only for discussing multilateral initiatives, but also for identifying future directions for trade-economic, transport-logistics, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the neighboring countries.
